DESERT TOWN.

I've always been attracted by Palm Springs, the "resort city" in the desert out of Los Angeles.
With its colorful houses, pools, golf courses, and everything (in my idea of course) looking like a retro post-card of California during the 60's or 70's.
That's why i liked these photos by Jeffrey Milstein. He creates a catalogue of trailers, a typology that popped out in Palm Springs after World War II: always observing them with the same angle, he makes it even easier to understand how people started adding on during the years, creating little gardens, garages and putting every kind of decoration, and shows the way every inhabitant was able to "personalize" them.
