Today's post is about a friend of mine! Meet fashion designer Giuliana Corona and her brand Blon.D: i liked her work since the the beginning (as you can see on the picture below, the project for her Master Thesis at Domus Accademy), mostly because of the way she could combine simple materials -hand-coloring them with sprays of colorful paint - with minimal shapes and basic lines.
Her clothes are unique and hand-made garments, wearable, fresh and refined at the same time. “Basic” materials, as plushes and jerseys, are combined with silk, when not carefully treated or dyed by hand.
