NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

Another good read for your holiday time. Sit down, relax and enjoy this brand new magazine / unusual blog.
N'est pas un magazine is a project by a friend, Silvia Del Vesco who decided to put together this publication with many contributors, which stretches from fashion and photography to art, design and architecture, and works online on a blog and a pdf version. Of course all kept together in a good package.
I chose some of my favorite images from the first issue, have a look!

P.S: if you want to follow nPUM's updates, here's the facebook page.

A GOOD EVERYDAY CHAT

Holiday time means finally have some hours to dedicate to our favorite interests.
What about having more time to read? That's why i'm really glad to introduce you a newborn blog by a friend of mine, Cafè Léonie, a space that gathers together writings about idle chatters at a town cafè, spoken in front of a cup of tea, from the hand of an "intermittent" yet pasionate writer, willing to share her thoughts on politics, society and much to come.

Have a look at its facebook page here for daily updates!

IN GOOD TASTE.

Here's to food lovers (and good photography, of course).
What Katie ate is an amazing blog headed by Sidney based food photographer Katie Quinn Davies: her stunning pictures makes you fall in love with the food, which is looking tasty and natural more then "set up" (as we can mostly see in food blogs). Her delicious recipies are shot before and AFTER being tasted, together with their ingredients and beautiful cutleries and dishes, coming up as so inviting to want to imediately try them at home!

A FINNISH INTERIOR.

Meet Riikka Kantinkoski, the finnish photographer and designer behind the exquisite blog Weekday Carnival.
The pictures of her house decorations, furnitures and hand-made projects show her emblematic style: nordic, simple but full o details, pale colors and geometric hints. I find it very inspiring, mostly because of her talent on putting together fresh and graphic elements, and of course also due to the beautiful photos she takes, always thinking about the perfect cut and colors. Just amazing.

(DO NOT) PLAY WITH FOOD.

This is Kathrin Koschitzki, a food photographer based in Munich, Germany.
In her delicious blog photisserie she puts together her love for photography with her pastry-making skills: what comes out is a serie of amazingly beautiful images, in which not only she shows ingredients, baking progress, and final result of her recipies, but she plays with several objects, "styling" and sometimes wearing her (really good looking) food.
