SHOPPING DILEMMA

Lee gets inside our mind on the hardest time of shopping - "should i buy it or save the money for everyday expenses?" - with this smart fanzine Shoes over bills. Can you relate to that?

THE WES ANDERSON COLLECTION.

What a find: today i stumbled on this amazing book The Wes Anderson Collection.
Being a HUGE fan of his work i was of course pretty excited about this guided tour of the director world, full of unpublished photos, artwork and ephemera.

“The interview and images are woven together in a meticulously designed book that captures the spirit of his films: melancholy and playful, wise and childish—and thoroughly original.” - Abrams Books.

Not being able to put my hands on the material object yet i was really happy with how the author Matt Zoller Seitz expands the book into the website, with a series of video essays guiding us through the  seven chapters based on Anderson's movies Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, The Darjeeling Limites, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Moonrise Kingdom, you should have a look!

NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

Another good read for your holiday time. Sit down, relax and enjoy this brand new magazine / unusual blog.  
N'est pas un magazine is a project by a friend, Silvia Del Vesco who decided to put together this publication with many contributors, which stretches from fashion and photography to art, design and architecture, and works online on a blog and a pdf version. Of course all kept together in a good package.
I chose some of my favorite images from the first issue, have a look!

A GOOD EVERYDAY CHAT

Holiday time means finally have some hours to dedicate to our favorite interests.
What about having more time to read? That's why i'm really glad to introduce you a newborn blog by a friend of mine, Cafè Léonie, a space that gathers together writings about idle chatters at a town cafè, spoken in front of a cup of tea, from the hand of an "intermittent" yet pasionate writer, willing to share her thoughts on politics, society and much to come.
